Project Description

Some excerpts from the structural & architectural construction documents created for the B.G. Hoadley Quarries limestone fabrication facility back in 2003, located in Bloomington, Indiana.  While the building may seem like a simple box from the exterior, a common trait in many pre-engineered metal structures, the true excitement of these projects lies in the intricate detailing of the steel and concrete components that provide structural integrity. Over the years, several individuals have remarked to me that it requires a unique dedication to meticulously spend hours at a computer, precisely measuring the spacing between anchor bolts and reinforcement. Industrial buildings, such as the B.G. Hoadley Quarries facility, not only serve the local community but also adorning buildings throughout the entire country.
